AWARDS OF ICLSS 2026

1. Professor Aman Most Promising Scholar Award for Faculty Members / Researchers below the age of 50.

2. Professor Jaishankar Emerging Scholar Award for Faculty Members / Researchers below the age of 40.

3. Professor Keith Harries New Scholar Award for Students / Research Scholars (PhD) below the age of 35.

4. Rukmani Karuppannan Young Scholar Award for Students (UG/PG) below the age of 25.

Rules and Regulations of all the four awards:

1. The award will be presented to Students/Faculty members/ Researchers/Professionals under the age group mentioned as per the award category.

2. Selections for this award will be based on the quality of the abstracts submitted by the researcher and his/her previous outstanding contributions to the field.

3. All papers submitted by the presenter on the themes of the conference, empirical/theoretical/conceptual/critical reviews, will be considered. In the case of a multiple-authored paper, only the lead author will be presented with the award.

4. Weightage will be given to 50% Curriculum Vitae, and 50% revised abstract submission. Both prior research and/or teaching accomplishments and the quality of his/her paper submission will be given equal weight.

5. The Awards Committee will only consider the quality of the content of the abstracts/paper and the researchers’ previous contribution to the field. The Awards committee will not examine the Presentation skills. The Awardee will be invited to make a presentation of his/her work in the Award Presentation Ceremony.

6. It is open to all nationalities (an International Award). The award consists of a Certificate of Award.
